The Association for Indo-German Co-operation (GDIZ) is a non-profit association based in Munich, with a aim of bringing the people from the European and Indian culture together. It combines a common interest to promote the dialogue between the countries, in the fields of culture, science, economics and politics.

GDIZ is characterized by high cross-cultural and interdisciplinary expertise. Its members come from different sectors of society and are usually in the middle of a successful career. Many have been to multiple locations in Asia and Europe and are familiar in both cultures very well.

In 2010 the Association for Indo-German Cooperation (GDIZ) was established as a successor of the initiative Arbeitskreis für Kultur und Sprachen Indiens started at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich in year 2008. Subsequently we expanded our horizons and recieved the status of a non-profit and registered organization (e.V.).
